WEDDINGS

The wedding was solemnised-lecenl-ly at St. Paul's Chinch,. Tokaanii, of Lilian Beryl (Dolly), only daughter oil Mrs. Jones and the lato Mr.- Robert Jones, Tokaanu, and tho granddaughter of tho late Mr. David Ash'cr, of Tauranga, to Lancaster, youngest son of Mr. John Edward Grace, and graudbon <$£ the late Kcv. T. S. Grace, for many years located in the Taupo district in the early 'sixties, and a descendant of the famous Taupo chief, Te Herokiekie. The Rev. Te Tikao (a relative of tho bride) officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr. John Asher, wore a graceful gown of rose-pink georgette and laco with a laco train falling from the shoulders, and a gold laco beret. She carried a sheaf of arum lilies. Miss Myra Steadman (a cousin of the bride) was bridesmaid, iwfearilig 3. cornflower bluo georgette Ifroek" with accordeon pleated. skirt, 'arid a gold lace beret. Her posy was of freesias and asparagus, fern., Mr. John H. Grace, Wellington, was best man, and Mrs. Hartnett (aunt of the bride) played the "Wedding March."
