VISIT TO POVERTY BAY

GISBOENE/This Day.

Members of the Bailways Board, who> arrived overland from Napier -last evening, were to-day engaged in-an inspection of portions of the Gisborne district within easy reach. They went to Tolaga Bay this morning,, and are spending this afternoon around tho Poverty Bay flats. Heavy rain and misty weather made the travelling conditions unpleasant. The board returns South to-morrow.
