LONDON, Sth July

Total catalogues offered to-day at the wool sales were 8402 bales, including 5077 bales New Zealand. Approximately 7-100 bales were sold.

There was but a limited .offering of greasy merinos, but a ■ good offering of greasy crossbreds, with a moderate supply of other sorts.

Competition was keen and fairly general. Opening rates were maintained. Realisations included Now Zealand greasy crossbred, "Hue,'-' 6%d to 6%d' per pound.
