CHINESE CONCILIATORY

TOKJO, 6th' July.

Alarmed at the widespread reprisals by Koreans, the Chinese have become conciliatory and have agreed to compensate the Korean farmers. The disturbances, however, continue, particularly at Heijo, where several Koreans were shot in clashes with the police and military.
