DICKENS-SHAKESPEARE SOCIETY.
Last Monday's meeting of the above society was held in St. Andrew's Hall, The Terrace, Mr. B. Cahill occupying the chair. A reading o£ "Ab'You Like It" was presented by members, who took the following, parts: Duke, living in exile, Mr. Toogood; Frederick, Mr. 8.. Cahill; Amiens, Miss Brooks; Jaques, Mr. B. Cahill; Le Beau, Miss Tui Hall; Charles, Mr. Harris; Oliver, Miss Humphreys; Jaques de Bpig, Miss Harris; Orlando, Mr. John Stdrrj Adam, Miss Eberlet; Dennis, Mr. Nichol; Touchstone, Mrs. N. Cruttenden; Corin, Miss Q. Harper; Silvius, Miss Hyacinthe D-vidson; William, Mrs. Taylor; Rosalind, Mrs. C. Ross; Celia, Mrs. V. Wakelin; Phoebe, Miss Taylor; Audrey, Miss Harris. Miss Jean Alexander sang "It Was a Lover and His Lass" and "Under the Greenwood Tree," and Mr. Charles Wilkie sang "Blow, Blow, Thou Winter '.Wind." A hearty, vote of thanks was accorded all those who contributed to the evening's performance.
