Wellington brokers held their usual fortnightly sales of skins and hides on Friday. In sympathy with cabled advices of a decline in London, sheepskins were easier in price. Hides were in good demand, shippers , and cow • and light advanced Vid to 3-8 d over last sale's rates. Medium ox- were -firmer by- %d, extra heavy, ox sold at a slight advance. Yearlings and'kip" sold at par to %d higher than last sale, but calf were %d easier.
