Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Co. are advised by cable from Messrs. J. J. Londsdale and Co. that butter has more inquiry, and the market is firm; the same comments apply to cheese. Prices are: Danish butter, 117s per cwt; New Zealand, 112s; Australian, 107s to 108s. Cheese, more inquiry. \yhite 565, coloured 58s to 595. Messrs. A. J. Mills, London, advise Mr. G. A. Mills, Wellington: "Butter market steady, cheese market firm." Also quoting prices.
