Kirkcaldie and Stains, Ltd., last evening the shareholders _ were informed that the British and Allied Investment Corporation, Ltd., London, an English corporation, had made an oner for certain shares in the company. It was explained to the shareholders that it was optional upon them individually to accept or refuse the offer for their respective holdings.
