A correspondent telegraphs the "■News-Chronicle" th-t the British Arctic air 'expedition's Moth 'plane was forced down nt Angmagsalik after a flight of 70 miles over the icefield without seeing anything of Augustine Courtauld or H. G. Watkins 's party, which sot out to rescue him.
A.fter is, vain attempt to reach tho yoveng explorer, 'Augustine Courtauld by sle:lghs, Mr. Watkins, leader of the British expedition, and his two companions, with only a few provisions, set out irom the base a fortnight ago, and have not bce-n heard of since. It is presumed that they are ronming about dm the iec-shcot in tho interior of Groenlund.
