In regard to tlio fatal crash on the NaJial border, it appears that the aura wn Commander Glen Kidston rose to a g.reat height to cross the Drakensberg E:H nge into Natal. Local school ehildnm saw an object, presumably a wing of.' the aeroplane, fall, and thai the nnjicliine nosedived and crashed temfiea fly on the side of the mountain. The ;b tidies could not "bo recognised, liut the Icßothing was marked with the name of ! Kidston. The airman. liad borrowed a I 1 uss Modi for the trip, as his own liockhcorl-Vcga machine whs too largo por local aerodromes.
