A maintenance order of £1 a week was made against H. V. De Rosa in favour of C. O. De Rosa, and he was ordered to pay past maintenance amounting to £9. For. disobedience of a maintenance order in respect of his wife, E. A. Jessop was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended while he pays the current maintenance and 2s 6d a week off arrears. On a similar charge in respect of .his children he was also sentenced to one month's imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended while he pays the current maintenance and 3s a week off arrears.'"- ... .
A. H. Fuller was successful in an action against the Education' Department in obtaining a remission of arrears of maintenance in respect of his children and in having the amount of the order reduced to 4s a week for each child.
On a judgment summons George Simister was ordered to payMunt, Cottrell, Neilson, and Co., Ltd., £13 8s forthwith, in default 14 days' imprisonment; Fred Knapp to pay_ Blue Cab Co., Ltd., £1 4s 6d forthwith, in default three days' imprisonment; G. Barnett to pay J.-S. Dallenger. £7 17s 3d at the rate of 5s a week, in default seven days' imprisonment; E. J. Ireland to pay Wanganui City Council £11 17s Id at the rate of ,-Sl 10s a month, in default ten days' imprisonment.
