HUTT VALLEY RESULTS
The Lower Hutt Poppy Day collection, which . was. organised by the Mayoress (Lady Eoberts) realised about £70. At Petono £28 was collected. In view of the present hard times, the results in both towns are considered good.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMAEU, 26th April. The Poppy Day collections totalled £142. AUCKLAND, This Day. The Poppy Day appeal on Friday realised £1.324, with returns still to come from several boroughs. Last year £.2500 was collected. j
