VERONICA PRESENTATION
Mr R. Darroeh, hon. secretary to the New' Zealand' branches of the. Navy League, acknowledges" subscriptions from the following .branches ;of the^ Navy League in connection -with the shilling fund to make a "presentation" to H.M.S. Veronica in appreciation of the splendid work of the officers and men after the Hawkes Bay-«ar-thquake, and which has now earned the unique distinction of the thanks of Parliament: Otago, ( Wanganui Collegiate School, Picton, Gisborne, Canterbury, Masterton, and Wellington. Subscriptions were also received from the Ruahine Club (Darinevirke), and from individual citizens, including refugees throughout the Dominion. Mr. Darroch will be pleased "to" receive further shilling subscriptions from citizens who are desirous of being included in the gilt of appreciation. •
The annual conference of the Technical School Teachers 1 Association will bo heM at the Wellington Technical College on 12th, 13th, and 14th May_.
