TO ROME AND BACK
ONE DAY FLIGHT FAILS

(Received 23rd April, 11 a.m.)RUGBY, 22nd April. , Captain Frank Hawks,, who set out from lleston aerodrome early to-day I to fly to Rome and back in one day, made a forced landing 150 kilometres south of Paris to-night. He wr.j not injured, and will completo the flight tomorrow. He reached Rome about noon, having travelled at an avcra^J speed of 174 miles an hour.
