COMMITTED FOR TRIAL

Fingerprints found on a broken window pane at the back of Mr. Justin Power's shop at Lower. Hutt, which was robbed last March, led to the appearance of Charles Maurice Collins, alias George Charles Octavian Orland, a labourer, aged 24, at the Magistrate's Court yesterday on a charge of breaking and entering and theft. The accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed by the Magistrate, Mr. E. Page, S.M., to the Supreme Court for trial. Collins, who also pleaded not guilty to a charge, of converting a motor-car valued at £70 to his own use, was convicted and sentenced to three months' imprisonment. .
