Mrs. Knox Gilmer was in navy blue, with touches of beige, and a hat to match. The Mayoress was in black with white furs. There was an official table, which was charmingly decorated with flowers. Among the guests were Mrs. and tho Misses Forbes, Mrs. Ransom, Lady Roberts, Sir John and Lady Luke, Sir Harold and Lady Boauchainp, Lady Buckletou and Miss Buckleton, Lady M'Gavin, Sir Heaton Ehodes and his sister, Mrs. Willis, Mrs. ]?. Dyer, Mrs. C. Morice, Mrs. Wilson, [Mrs. Underwood, Mr. MacKonzie (secrotary of the society), Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Y. Seddon, "Mrs. Davidson, Mrs. Horbert, and Miss Ncylon.
