' Miss K. Knight has returned: to Auckland after a visit to Wellington and Hcretaunga. Mrs. "Wilson Smith, Komuera, arrived by the Maunganui from Auckland. Mrs. J. W. Anderson, Wanganui, is: a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. M. Kirk, Wellington, who has been the guest ..of Mrs. J. P. Clark, Durie Hill, Wanganui, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. Percy Ward, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Craig, Wanganui. Miss J. Anderson, Wellington, who has been visiting Mrs. Timaru Bhodes and Mrs. G. A. Bridges, Timaru, has returned North. : Mr. and Mrs. John Barker, "Pour Peaks," Canterbury, are visiting the' North Island. Mrs. TVeedic and Miss Worthington have arrived in Wellington from Christchurch. The Hon. W. Stewart, M.L.C., and Mrs. Stewart have arrived from the South. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Parr have arrived in Christchurch from the North. Mr. and Mrs. B. Weir "have arrived in Wellington from Christchureh. Mr. ana Mrs. J. A. Hillary, Misses, Mavis and Joan Hillary, Christchureh, are among those leaving by the Maunganui for Sydney, on route for a tour abroad. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Herdman and their eldest son, of Lyttelton, are leaving by the Maunganui, en route for a tour overseas. Mr. and Mrs, J. G. Hareourfc, Wellington, have paid a brief visit to Wanganui. . Lady Carncross has returned from a brief visit to Eltliam. Mrs. J. B. Grant and Miss F. Grant, Dunedin, are visiting Wellington. Miss Margaret Miles, Wellington, who has boen the guest of Miss Betty Kivor, Ohristchurch, is now the guest of Mrs. J. D. Fairhurst, Papanui road. Miss Margaret Shan a, who has boen visiting her aunt, Mrs, C. Cooper, Christchureh, returns to Wellington tomorrow. Mr. and Mrs. Balharry, who have been visiting Mrs. J. Ramsden, Merivale, Christchureh, have returned to Wellington. Mrs. Frank Wilding, Biecarton, is tho guest of Captain and Mrs. Wcstall, Heretaunga. ' Miss Noeline 'Knight, Christchureh, arrives in Wellington to-morrow, en route for a visit to England. Mrs. B. Caughloy, Wellington, is tho guest of her mother, Mrs. Alfred Evans, Bealey avenue, Christchureh. Miss Haekworth has returned North after a visit to Mrs. C. E; Thomas, Timaru. Mrs. T. A. 'Duncan aud Miss Duncan left to-day for Hiinterville, after spending a few days in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Leuch (London) loft for the South yesterday. , Mrs. C.
