' For the Carterton Mayoralty Mr. "WV Fisher has, been re-elected,unopposed. For the council, .Messrs. J." L. Churehouse, D. L. Taverner, C. E. Jones, Josiah Udy, W. Tucker, E. Clarke, and W. HaTt, all retiring councillors, have been re-elected, and Messrs. <C: _E. Stevens and W. Sorensen replace CovincillorsG. Hughan and A. M._ Broadbent, who did not seek re-election.
