Mayor: William Greig and Angus John M'Curdy. Councillors: East ward (five required), James Blcwman, Kenneth S. Geange, George Humphrey Guthrie, Allan K. Thompson, Francis Percy Keys, James Peter O'Flaherty, Charles Lawrence Alexander Spearman, James Thomas Hazlewood, Eric S. Wakelin, Peter Edward Warner; west ward, Malcolm H., Hood, Amos Charles Howell, ami Thomas Eeginald Jameson. As only three councillors were required, these were elected unopposed. Hutt Valley Electric Power Board: W. H. P. Barber (re-elected unopposed).
