: As several members oi the House of Representatives are absent from Wellington,- the Prime Minister has - doparted from his intention to promote a discussion in-tho House to-day on the prices of bread and flour, and instead the.re will be a debate on tho question o.f fertilisers for farmers. This evening the second reading debate on the Finance Bill (No. 2), embodying the Government's economy proposals, will bo commenced.
