CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW.
The entries for the Chrysanthemum Show in the Town Hall to-morrow are excellent.. A number of new exhibitors are showing. The Wellington.; Show, of recent years has come forward, and among growers is now recognised as one of: the best in the Dominion. Chrysanthemums will take pride of place, the tup competition bringing the best '/rowers together. Begonias and native, flowers and berries will also be prominent. Or.? '.rade grower from the Hutt Valley is making a feature of rhododendrons in pots, and will display a stand 20 x ,20. Fruit and vegetables, as in past autumn shows, will make a big display. .Forty entries have already boon made by one grower in South Wellington.1 This will be the final show of the season, for the "Posemary" trophy presented for the most successful exhibitor in the ladies' decorative classes, tliroiignout the year. The show will be officially opened by fjord and Lady Bledisloe at 3 p.m. A. firstclass orchestra has been engaged, and the ladies of the society are providing afternoon tea. Prize blooms and seedlings will be on sale at the flower stall. The doors will be open continuously from 2 n.m. to 9.15 n.m.
