(Received 21st April, 1 p.m.) BRISBANE,'This Day. ~ The discovery of rats infected by leprosy in premises in the city has been followed by an intensive- searchof buildings" in sections where rats have been caught. During the, past ( wee-k six more were captured. . The Health Commissioner, Dr. Coffey, says, that, apart from the'menace to public health, rats on a low estimate caused a destruction amounting to a cost of half a million yearly in Queensland.
