Henderson, said that Germany, Italy, , Belgium, 'Holland, Sweden,",and Norway had all unofficially inquired whether Britain was taking action to secure a reduction in Suez. Canal dues. He said that British shipping interests might have.made.direct representations on the subject of. the Suez. Canal. The profits for 1929-30 were approximately sis millions, sterling.
