PETONE CEREMONIES
' Anzac services in Petone will follow tho practice of previous years.^ Ser-vices-.will. be held at the. schools in the morning. The principal public service will be held near the monument on the Eecreatiou Ground, commencing .at 2.30 p.m. The Mayor (Mr. D. M'Kenzie) will preside, and an' address will be delivered by the Rev. H. J. Odell. The religious pa"rt of the ceremony will be conducted by the Revs. J. C. Loan and B. J. James, and Captain Thompson, and appropriate music will be. provided by the Salvation Army Band and the Caledonian .Society's .Pipe Band. Prior to the service the -Returned Soldiers Association, the Legion of Frontiersmen, and Scouts and' Guides, with the Pipe Band and the .Central Band,. will parado through the town from the Drill Hall in' Nelson street to the Recreation Ground. .
