HONG KONG, 20th April. The French stearaor Linchow grounded a week ago in the Hainan Straits. The passengers and crew were taken off by another vessel; meanwhile the stricken vessel was boarded by Chinese pirates, who looted and set fire to tho ship. Assistance has been requested, and I-I.M.S. 'Sterling was dispatched to the scone this morning. .
LONDON, 19th April. Sweethearts at tho same school, Isabella Greenfield, now 75, and James Totfc, 73, drifted apart and did not see each other for sixty years.
