The Rotorua, en route from London with passengers for New Zealand, arrived at Colon on 17th April, and sailed from Panama the followln"- day in continuation of her voyage. Sho is due at Wellington about 18th May. THE RANGITATA. The Rangltata, which left Wellington on 2Sth March for Southampton and London, via Panama, sailed from Colon on 16th April. OTOKIA AGAIN REPORTS. En route from San Pedro, the Otokla now reports that she should arrive at Wellington to-morrow afternoon. NORFOLK LEAVES CARACAS BAY. The Norfolk, which left London on 3rd April in ballast for New Zealand, sailed from Caracas Bay on 18th April. She is due in New Zealand about, llth May. RUAPEHU AT LONDON. The Huapehu, which left Wellington on 10th March for London, via Panama, arrived at London on 18th April. THE NEW ORARI. With general merchandise from West Coast ports of Britain the New Zealand Shipping Company's new motor-ship Orari arrived at Auckland from Liverpool on Saturday morning with cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru, from Glasgow, Avonmouth, Newport, and Liverpool, the vessel sailed frotn Liverpool on 15th March, tight days' stormy weather experienced in the Atlantic, necessitated the vessel taking the route south of the Azores. She reached Colon on 2Sth .March, and cleared Balboa the .following day. Tho speed for the voyage averaged 14.8 knots, but. 15.3 knots were averaged for the first ten days after she left Balboa until a>

continuous high head swell was encountered. The Orari is to leave Auckland on Thursday, and Is due here on Saturday, FERRY SERVICE ALTERATIONS. Owing to Anzac Day falling due on Saturday, several alterations havo been mado in the time-tables of the Picton and the Nelson ferry service. The Tamahine will arrivo at Wellington from Picton at 1 o'clock on Saturday morning, Instead of at G p.m. Tho departure of the Arahura from Wellington has been delayed until midnight on Sunday, and the Matangi will not leave Nelson until midnight on Sunday, so those who leave the respective ports on Friday will have the benefit of spending an extra day at either Nelson or Wellington. TONGARIRO AND DEVON. Changes aro announced in the-loading itineraries of Ihe Tongariro and the Devon. The Tongarlro will now call at Dunedin before Bluff, and is to leave New Plymouth to-mor-row for the South. The Devon will commence her loading at Lyttelton on 30th April instead of Port Chalmers.
