EIGHT MONTHS1 BUSINESS
The Dairy Board reports that for the eight months of the season ended 31st .March last, shipments of butter totalled 07,538 tons, a decrease of 912 tons compared with the corresponding period of last year. "41 Cl Total tons 04,702 57,204 Butter exports by Australia and Argentina, have increased this year, and for the eight months in review they compare as follows':— 1930-31. 1929-30. ■ tons. tons. Australia 49,207 ' 35,420 Argentina 15,873 11,015 Total tons 65,080 47,035 This additional weight of butter would be. almost entirely thrown on the British market.
