SOFTWGOD GROWING CBNTBE FOB PACIFIC. NEW ZEALAND'S IMPORTANCE. It is not generally realised that the countries in the Southern Hemisphere import^ softwood timber, pulp, and paper from Canada, Sweden, and countries in th© Northern Hemisphere to the value of over £30,000,000 per annum. These supplies, however, are rapidly dwindling and with a consequently increasing demand the plantations owned by the Bondholders of N.Z. Perpetual Forests, Ltd., will naturally increase in value, and should prove a considerable source of revenue both to Bondholders and to the Dominion, in the very near future.—Advt.
