ANNIVERSARY SERVICES.
The anniversary services of the Mornington Baptist Sunday School-were held on Sunday last. In the afternoon the Key. G. W. Boggis held tho attention of. bis hearers' with an address on "Knocking." At night the Rev. K. N*-■Goring spoke' on "Train Up a Child in-the Way He Should Go," or, as he preferred it, "Draw a Child into the Way." The children sang splendidly under the conductorship of Mr. S. Thomas. The tea ■ meeting and prize-giving were held last evening, when Mr. Goring presided over n, fine muster of parents and scholars. There were' the usual songs and recitations, but the outstanding feature was the first public appearance of the recently-formed Boys' Brigade Band, with Mr.: Hampton as conductor. They played some selections in a very creditable way, and were highly applauded. Opportunity was taken by friends of the church to make a small presentation to Mr. and Mrs. S. Thomas in recognition of their untiring work in connection with the evening services. ,
