While leaning over the saddle of his bicycle on the Ferry Wharf about 4 o'clock on Sunday afternoon, Bert Nicholson,. aged about 14 years, everbalanced and fell with his bicycle into the harbour. He managed to scramble up the anchor chain of a hulk, and suffering from cold and shock, was taken by the ambulance to his home at '50, Ellico avenue. The bicycle was recovered later.
