Tbe. Wellington Trotting Club's Autumn. Meeting was held to-day on the Hu.tt Park course in bright sunshine after a threatening morning. The track early was slightly heavy after showers overnight, but it'waa otherwise in good order. Tho attendance) was well up to the average, and improved after the first races. Tho moetiug was the final one for the season, and tho. fields throughout were strong. The Tacing in tho opening ovents was first class. Moving off'well and always pacing evenly, Eon led throughout and won pullhig up. Golden Oaks, Muiyshimes, and Eoyal Parado followed him early, but Fleet Arrow improved in tho first few furlongs, and was fourth behind Bon. Golden Oaks, and Eoyal Parade passing the stand the second time. Fleet Arrow tired' half a mile from home, And Eon, Golden Oaks, and .Eoyal Parade were tho only ones in it at the straight entrance, Eon beating Eoyal Parade by two lengths, with Golden Oaks three lengths further back. Biddy Parrish appeared to hold the upper hand,, but stumbled iusidc the last furlong and would nof; settle down again, Merco Bingen coining on to beat Nelson Parrish by throe lengths, with Great Glee, who brolto again in the straight, four lengths, further back third. Miss Leda was aj poor fourth, just in front of Biddy Parrisb. Ben Bingen went up constantly in ' the Tace, and Blue and Gold also ■would not strike a proper gait. Happy Land always hold the upper hand after ho had hit tho front three furlongs from home, but had he raced very much further, fust-finishing Purser would probably have headed off both those who beu't him to tho post. With a round covered, Zclla was in charge from St. George, Tuniatakuru, Major Lind, Bonuiewah, Keal Girl, Dillon Logan, and Happy Land. Dillon Logan improved going into tho buck, and then Happy Land left the row and put in a run down the outside of. tlic f fLcld to take the lend about throo furlongs from home and show tho way into the straight to Dillon Logan, Major Lind, St. George, Purser, ,and .101 Direct, i Happy Land was strongly challenged by Dillon Logan', and then by Purser, but he stuck out to beat Dillon Logan bra head, with Purser only a neck C in-1 hot1 away and going better than either. Arklow and Achray disputed the early leadership, followed by Oxford Queen, and Lie wellJewel Elect, and Logaleen, but Arklow was finished half a milo from home, and Achray took charge to lead into the straight from Oxford Queen, Manco, Logaleen, on tho rails, Jewel Elect, and Llewellyn. Once in line, Logaleen shot up past the tiring Achray, and witnessed a final challenge from Jewel Elect, to '-win by a short length, Achray being it good half length away, third. Manco was fourth, followed by Oxford Queen, and Llswllyn, with a gap back to Arklow and Kevin Brae. Bussell Pointer did not go away, ajid he and Huia Maid, did not finish.
