TYPHOID FEVER
ARNOLD BENNETT ILL
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, 25th March. A successful blood transfusion operation was carried out on Wednesday ■on the novelist, Arnold Bennett, who is suffering from typhoid. He showed a slight improvement in the afternoon. It is now stated that he became ill while in Florence just after Christmas, and the illness was originally diagnosed as iniluonza.
