EXTREMISTS AT KARACHI

CHAPLAIN STONED

DELHI, 23th'March.

The first symptoms of possible trouble when the Indian Congress opens its sessions at Karachi were apparent at a meeting of the Young Men's Association called as an act <•? homage to the three men executed at Lahore.

A furious attack on Mr. Gandhi was made by the Moslem president of the association and Moslem and Sikh extremists, all of whom found a sympathetic hearing.

There- were disorderly scenes in Karachi City, where an English chaplain was stoned.
