MR. M'GRATH'S POSITION

CANBERRA, 25th March.

The Labour Caucus passed a resolution that the Government should take action on the floor of the House to oust Mr. M'Grath from the Chairmanship of Committees, and the vote made a vital issue.

Messrs. Parker Moloney and F. Anstey vigorously opposed it. Later the Government failed to give notice that the position of Chairman of Committees be declared vacant, and Mr. M'Grath therefore appears safe.
