PETONE COURT
The fortnightly sitting of the Pctone Magistrate's Court was held yesterday before Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M.
P. Tse, a fruiterer, was fined for failing to close his shop at 11 p.m., according to the Shops and Offices Act. ■
E. J. Bcrcsford, a fish hawker, for failing to obtain a hawker's licence from the Petono Borough Council, was fined £2.
Exceeding the ppeed limit in a motorvehicle coat A. M. Walling £2. D. G. Holmes, for passing intersections on the Esplanade at an excessive speed, was fined £2.
H. Jackson, charged with arrears of maintenance, was sentenced to a month's imprisonment unless he pays £1 a week to his wife.
