INSURANCE CLERK'S OFFENCE

Tu-o sentences, cacli of three months' imprisonment, to be concurrent, were imposed by Air. K. Page, S.M., to-day on Herbert Mayer Flinders, a clerk, aged 30, who yesterday pleaded guilty to failing to amount for a sum oE money, thereby committing theft, and to a, charge of false pretences. The Magistrate said that the Probation Officer did not recommend probation. There were other charges which could have been, but were not, preferred against the accused.
