According to a directory issued today, two hundred firms from the devastated area in Napier have re-estab-lished themselves in business. In many cases the premises are mere shelters tucked away in all sorts of places.
Steady rain fell throughout the night. It will do much good in the country, but it found many leaks in battered dwellings. The present prospects suggest a continuance of the rain.
