BELGIAN FRONTIER
GERMAN ACTION RESENTED
EUPEN-MALMEDY AREA
(.Received 25th March, 2 p.m.)
BRUSSELS, 24th March,
The Senate has been asked to approve an arrangement concerning tho administration of the Belgo-German frontier. M. Hymans referred to tho unexpected motion passed by the German ItcichsUig demanding the reincorporation of Eupen and Malmcdy in Germany, and declared-that this was tho more shocking to Belgian opinion as it, followed Belgium's reaffirmation of its intention to pursue a policy of understanding and peace. Belgium had indisputable rights over Eupen and Malmedy, which the Allies had undertaken to maintain. The Government would not accept any discussion on Belgian frontiers and territory.
