SCENE IN'NEW YORK TRIAL
ACCUSED KILLS COUNSEL
NEW YOEK, 24th March,
A crippled former bar-tender, on trial in a local Court on proceedings involving the alleged misappropriation of funds, suddenly rose from his seat and shouted that he was not getting
justice.
He drew a revolver and shot dead the corporation counsel, William Kavanagh, a prominent young' attorney. The cripple then sat down, lighted a cigarette, and awaited arrest.
