MINIATURE RIFLES
'EVENING POST" CLUB
The annual general meeting o£ the "Evening Post" Miniature Kifle Club was held on Tuesday, 24th March, at the Railways Rifle Range.
Following upon the secretary's reading of the report and balance-sheet, the chairman, Mr. M. Marshall, moved the adoption of the offer of New Zealand Railways for a renewal of the lease of the range for the coming season. Motion carried. Trophies won last season by members of the club were presented. Mr. H. Nickless retained the cup donated by the "Evening Post" proprietors. Election of officers was as follows: Patron, L. P. Blundell; president, W. J. Blundell; vice-presidents, H. P. F. Blundell, E. A. Blundell, L. C. Blundell, F. Marshall, J. W. Griffiths, PI. A. Lines, E. E. Muir, P. Georgeson, R. Campbell, J. Parker, P. Athea, D. E. Tyler, W. L. Page, A. H. Johnson, W. E. Nation, T. A. Hastings, G. Clarke; treasurer, W. Hanley; secretary, B. Knell; committee, Mrs. H. Nickless, Miss N. Evatt, Messrs. J. Henry, M. Marshall, M. Lemmer, A. Golclsborough, and S. Fife. •■ . ■ Election of club capairr and vice-captain was deferred until the first working night upon the range.
