Riecarton scored 328 in the first innings, and Old Boys 226. Riccarton went in again, and secured 141. Merntt took eight wickets f0r.72 runs. Old Boys batted again, and were all out for 114. A W. Roberts heads the batting averages' for the season with 70.27, Kerr 65.88 being next. Bowling averages are headed by Read, with 64 wickets for 13.85 runs each. Light rain made conditions all in favour of the batsmen in the cricket matches on Saturday. Against Christian Brothers, Carisbrook scored 208 for two' wickets, Blunt (106), and D. ,Smitk (90), being undefeated at the end of a partnership which yielded 197. Carisbrook declared, and Christian Brothers have lost one wicket for 31 runs. Dunedin, playing Grange, scored 271 for the loss of five wickets (R. Cherry 85, Strong 46, C. Ritchie 46, Ditchfield 40 not out). Old Boys, playing against Albion, made 231 for eight wickets (Alloo 51, N. Cherry 46, Moloney 30, Dickinson 30). Silver took four wickets for 56 runs.
