COMING LOCAL SALES
Auckland sales with a.catalogue of between '15,000 and 16,000 bales will be held on Friday next. This offering may be supplemented by last-minute receipts. The offering will contain an appreciable percentage of lambs'^ wool, but very little of last season's held-over wool, as the bulk of this had either been sold or shippqd to London. '"We naturally do not wish to make any definite statement as to what prices will bo, but I am confident they will show a 'big improvement on the last Auckland tale," stated Mr. B:,J. Marquet, chairman of the Auckland Woolbrokers r Association, ■ commenting on the prospects.
