MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Cases at flio Magistrate's Court were dealt with to-day by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M. \ A remand until Ist April was granted in the case of James Sinclair, a wool grader, aged 48, who was charged with stealing £255 10s 2d from his employers, Messrs. Wilson, Canham, and Co., between 10th October, 1027, and 15th January, 1931. Bail was fixed at £100, with one surety of £100. Alexander Bonner Wright, a. woolelasser, aired 35, was fined £15 and his licence was cancelled for two years for being intoxicated in charge of a motor-car. Sub-Inspector Lopdell said that the accused drove along Cambridge terrace on Saturday, turned into Vivian street, and collided with a -tramear. Mr. A. B. Sicvwright appeared for the accused. _^____^_^____
