WORLD FRIENDSHIP BADGE
Tlig local branch of the League of Nations Union recently urged that more Boy Scouts and Girl Guides should work for their AVorld Friendship Badge, particulars of which have now been received by the secretary, Mrs. K. M. Evans", from the Boy Scouts' Association, Christchureh. Tho requirements for the badge are that a Scout (or a Guide) should (1) be able to recognise the national flags of at least 20 foreign countries and the flags of all British Dominions; (2) have either corresponded regularly with an oversea or foreign Scout for not less than a year, or camped with overseas or foreign Scouts either in Great Britain or overseas; (3) have some knowledge of the Boy Scout International Organisation, the World Girl Guide and Girl Scout Organisation; (4) have some knowlcdgo of the League of Nations and its component parts; (3) state, with reasons, which Dominion' or country ho would prefer to live in, other than his own.
