CONGREGATIONAL MEN'S LEAGUE
The Wellington Congregational Men's League held its first meeting of the session at Cambridge Terraco Church Schoolroom on Monday evening. The president (Mr. J. Morgan Davies) presided over a good attendance of members. A scries of ten minute addresses were delivered as follow: Mr. Basil Potton on "What the Congregational Camp Means to a Young Man"; Mr. A. Graff, "The Need for the Mobilisation of the Christian Conscience"; Mi1..1 T. ID. Brnsey, "Music in Relation to Cimrch Worship"; Mr. P. V. Masters, ".Reminiscences of Papua"; Mr. Stephenson, "My First Trip to Sea"; and Mr. M'Millan, "Aims o£ the Sunday School." Between each address, hearty community singing was indulged in, and solos were given by Mcasrs. ]3. R. Lankshear and H. F,. Bruscy. During the evening opportunity was taken to bid farewell to the Rev.'D. Jones, who is shortly leaving for America, the Jiev. Harry Johnson extending to Mr. Jones the league's {rood wishes lor his future.
