Mr. Greig has been a resident of Upper Hutt for 45 years and has taken an active part in all matters of interest in the borough. He is at present deputy-Mayor, and has been a member of every town board and council since 1013. lie was chairman of the Town Board for four conKeeutivc years, during which lime the board was responsible for many imporlnut m-i>i-Ixs. Mr. Groi ß is chairman of the Public Services Committee of. the council, borough representative on the Free Ambulance Board, and a member of the local Unemployment Belief Committee. He ia actively interested in educational nmtl.ors, and is connected with many of. the sporting bodies of the district.
