ACCOUNTANT CHARGED
Sums of moi icy totalling £1120 are mentioned in a eh arge of theft against Albert Kellerway, ao countant, aged 37, employed by the Austa alian Mutual Provident Society. Kellerway, who appeared before Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S, M., at the Magistrate's Court to-day, to et nswer charges of theft from his employens over a period extending from 4th Oci ;ober, 1927, to 30th October, 1930 was remanded until Ist April. -Bail was fixed vi: £250, with one surety of £250 or two of £125 each. In making an application tor bail, Mr. A B. Sievii Tight, who appeared for the accused, said that there were certain matters concert ing his client's business to be attended to, and for that reason he would ask for the suppression of the accuseds name. . , Mr. M'Ne il: "The offence is an exceedingly'seriom . one, involving a large amount of money, and I don't think it is a case where I can suppress the name."
