I It'has been.'generally estimated that millions of pounds in tire service are lost to car-owners every year through improper tire usage, neglect, and abuse. .Manufacturers agree .that this misuse is.not.deliberate pr,intentional; but results from lack of knowledge, of proper tire care.,; The following simple rules haye : .been drawn up_ by the Bubber Manufacturers' Associafcion, Inc., in the .interests .of. tire users, to promote a better understanding and observance of the precautions necessary to obtain long wear from their tires:—_" .
