ADELAIDE, l"th February. Albert Augustine Edwards, who is a member of tho Houso of Assembly, was convicted of an offence concerning a boy and sentenced to iivo years' im-l pr'isoninent with hard labour. j The caso excited tremendous interest. Edwards is reported to havo said: "My enemies have succeeded with loaded dice." An appeal is likely to bo lodged.
