In the House of Commons, Commander Kenworthy (Lab.) asked if facilities similar to those granted to ths Dutch were granted British aeroplane* to traverse India from Australia. Mr. Wedgwood-Benn said that no British application had been made. Commander Kenworthy: "Is is not a fact that the Dutch are permitted and the British are not permitted?" Mr. Benn: "There is no similarity in the two cases." Commander Konworthy: "What steps are being taken to permit British machines to -cross India?" Mr. Benn: "That is a different question." •*
